Explore and Celebrate the Essential Role of Ethics in the Investment Industry on Global Ethics Day with CFA Institute, Carnegie Council, and Organizations around the World.
Global Ethics Day is a project started by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, who was inspired by Earth Day, and it is celebrated on the 3rd Wednesday in October. It is an opportunity for educational institutions, professional organizations, and business associations around the globe to explore the role of ethics in a globalized world.
Because we want to take every opportunity to be involved in conversations that advance ethics in all aspects of business, CFA Institute is a proud supporter of Global Ethics Day. And with ethics at the core of our mission, we are calling October “Global Ethics Month”!
We encourage you and your society to get involved by participating in ethics-related programming on Global Ethics Day or at any time in the month of October. To help inspire you, below is a list of ideas and activities that CFA Societies have organized for past Global Ethics Day celebrations. Visit our Global Ethics Day resources page for more information and ideas on how to get involved.
