Looking Ahead into 2019
As you can see, our team has been working diligently to improve your technology experience. While we have made some progress over the last 6 months, there is a lot of work to be done.
Currently, we have several initiatives underway. Your continued feedback has been invaluable in helping us prioritize these efforts:
- Reassessing the Society Technology Platform architecture to ensure we are on the right path to meet diverse needs of societies
- Further enhancing data and the ability for societies to improve engagement with members
- Designing and launching new dashboard views for societies of key members and society data
- Completing the addition of a library for document storage in Salesforce
- Introducing data analytics by incorporating Tableau into Salesforce
- Further improving usability by launching a landing page that points to all society tools and resources in Salesforce
- Improving the society leader training experience by deploying a new learning management system
In addition to the efforts above, we are committed to continuously improving our feedback and communications practices. The results of our feedback survey are direct inputs into our new society technology quarterly planning process. We believe this new approach to reviewing performance, setting objectives, and communicating with the society network will produce better and more timely results for societies. The next quarterly update is scheduled for March and will be featured on Connexions.
