CFA Institute is thrilled to host a series of very special virtual events for our CFA Society® members and their families!
Sheila Bair, former FDIC chair and financial expert known for her leadership helping families protect their money, has written a picture book series, Money Tales, to help kids develop financial literacy. She has generously offered to host a series of virtual book readings for CFA Society members and their families.
In the virtual event, children will watch and listen to Sheila read, while also viewing the entertaining illustrations to help them follow along. The readings are intended to educate children on such money matters as excessive borrowing, impulse buying, and financial scams. We are also accepting questions from children attending the webinar so Sheila can answer them after her reading. Those who want to submit a pre-recorded question can express their interest to do so when they register, and we will follow up with details.
CFA Institute is taking care of the registration details, speaker engagement, and all production for the events. To support this initiative, we ask that you not only register for the event but also help spread the word to your members and their families. Even if you are unable to attend, we encourage you to register anyway so you can receive a session recording to view on demand.
Registration information follows:
We have developed a promotional toolkit, including assets, copy, and recommended deployment dates for a variety of channels, to help you reach your audiences.
