Presidents Council Elections

Make an Impact as a Presidents Council Representative

Presidents Council Representatives (PCRs) form an official CFA Institute volunteer committee. Along with the Presidents Council Chair, they lead the Presidents Council—the body composed of the presidents representing nearly 160 societies around the world.

Role of the PCR

PCRs play an integral role by

  • soliciting feedback from societies on key issues
  • facilitating dialogue, collaboration, and idea sharing among societies
  • representing the collective interests of societies and members in their region before the Presidents Council, the CFA Institute Board of Governors, and CFA Institute leadership
  • serving on CFA Institute Board of Governors committees and CFA Institute oversight committees as needed
  • hosting society leader meetings and attending Society Leadership Conferences

PCR Qualifications

Qualified PCR candidates would

  • be a current CFA® charterholder in good standing
  • have at least three years’ experience as a society Board member (at the commencement of the term)
  • have society and/or CFA Institute volunteer experience
