Sheila Bair Money Tales: Special Webinar Offering
We are thrilled to share that, before appearing at our Asset and Risk Allocation conference, Sheila Bair will host webinars across time zones as a special offering to our CFA Society members and their children!
Sheila has written a new picture book series, Money Tales, to help kids develop financial literacy.
In these webinars, children will watch and listen to Sheila read, while also viewing the entertaining illustrations to help them follow along. They will also have the opportunity to have their questions answered by Sheila. We invite our society leaders, staff, members, and their children to join the webinar.

Podcast Updates & Guest Speaker Request
My CFA Charter Story
Season 2 of My CFA Charter Story launches on Wednesday, 25 January and will feature a conversation between Lauren McAdams, Senior Director, Global Society Relations, CFA Institute, and Gene Gard, CFA, Chief Investment Officer at Telarray and Vice President, Education at CFA Society Memphis.
The season’s 8 episodes will be released every other week.
In February, we will hear from Natalie Gregoire-Skeete, CFA, who leads EY’s UK Financial Services Sustainable Finance Markets and co-founded the CFA UK Black Professionals Network, and Joy Olisa, CFA, who also happens to work at EY, previously based in Nigeria and now in Ireland. In March, we will have guests from Jordan and Romania. April will bring guests based in Mumbai and Hong Kong. The season wraps up on 3 May with a Research Challenge alumnus/CFA charterholder from Switzerland.
Guiding Assets
We are sure that you have all subscribed to and are regular listeners of Guiding Assets. In our next (1 February) episode, Mike Wallberg, CFA, talks to Julia Dhar of BCG’s Behavioral Science Lab about having productive disagreements and how to use conflict as a starting point for improving investment decision making.
