The Nominating Committee of the CFA Institute Board of Governors is requesting your assistance in building the list of applicants for the FY2024 Board of Governor nominations. To solicit a wider pool of applicants, we are extending the nomination deadline to 31 January and have updated our list of preferred qualifications.
We are asking you to leverage your extensive institutional knowledge and experience of CFA Institute to build a dedicated list of applicants.
Each year, we receive many new candidate recommendations, but it is important for us to get your input directly given your volunteer leadership in the organization. We will make sure that the applicants you nominate are properly vetted and receive necessary feedback as they go through the vetting process. As most of our Governors are applicants in more than one cycle, we would like to build a multi-year pipeline with your recommendations.
For the FY2024 application process, the Nominating Committee is initially prioritizing for the applicants to serve, at least, one term on the Board of Governors (3 years minimum).
The Nominating Committee is looking for candidates whose skillsets reflect the following, with a preference for candidates who are CFA charterholders:
- Association education leadership and technology (EdTech)
- India knowledge and strategic understanding
- CFA Society expertise
- Not-for-profit governance experience
- Senior human resources experience
- Industry leadership
Please forward your recommendations to our Nominating Committee representative, Katelynn Rosson, by 31 January.
