In addition to providing flexibility to existing candidates, the transition to computer-based testing and the opening of additional exam windows will also provide university students in their second-to-last year of undergraduate the opportunity to register for the CFA® Program. These individuals will then be able to sit for their Level I exam at the beginning of their final year of undergraduate studies.
Our new Computer-Based Testing exam schedule means undergraduate students can better separate their CFA exam preparation from their undergraduate academic obligations. Another benefit of these changes is the CFA Program can serve as a complement to—or even a substitute for—a summer internship in finance.
Beginning in February, members of the University Relations and Credentialing teams will reach out to university contacts through individualized webinars that explain what this new opportunity means for students in their second-to-last year of undergraduate and for professors. A member of the CFA Institute staff will contact your society to inform you of the schools we will be targeting in your location.
