On 16 February 2023, CFA Society Finland held its 13th local CFA Institute Research Challenge. The final was hosted at Nasdaq Helsinki, with three finalist teams presenting their research to an expert panel of judges.

After a tight competition, the Turku School of Economics team was crowned the local winner. To celebrate this achievement, the winning team rang the closing bell at Nasdaq Helsinki, which was a great honour for the students and enjoyed by all the event attendees.

As a final highlight for the local CFA Institute Research Challenge, the Turku team got their image displayed on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square, New York–a first-ever for a Finnish champion team!
